Writing, golfing, shopping, fishing, and picnicking with puppets

Today we woke up with a smile and some coffee

Then we had some tasty waffles, sausage, and bacon thanks to our morning crew (Sam, Madeline, JoJo, etc) who we love very much. After filling our bellies, we split off and had some great classes, including a science class led by our mulleted, brilliant Dr. Tim.

There was also a mini golf class where we honed our short game and had several holes-in-one!

We also had a small group of authors go to a writing workshop in Chilmark, and thank god there was a professional film crew present to document it because we were too busy writing to take pics.

After we all split up for these classes and outings, we came back together after a tasty lunch of MEATLOAF for a lovely rest period followed by town trips or studio night preparations.

Then a gang of men and Chloe and Sharon headed into OB to head on the Skipper for some sunset fishing!
George preferred a trident to the pole, and it proved very successful.

Sam Stoddard not only fished but also found some time to take a few very impressive photos:

And then Sam had some time to pose in a few, too!

Lookat all the Sams!

Myles faced his fear of the water head-on, and had a decently pleasant time despite his terrifying surroundings.

We had some lucky poles today and caught tons of fish, including some that we accidentally fed to the seagulls (sorry, fish!!)

The campers were brave and impressive fishermen, and most of the counselors were pathetic and scared of the fish. It was a delightful time!

Leif loved his fish so much he gave it a kiss

And Issy loved Sharon's fish so much she gave it a kiss, too. Before it flopped out of her hands and she screamed and hurled it back in the water.

Then Jake was pretty exhausted from helping Matt catch 4000 fish that he took a nap and Jason drove us home.

Thanks, Jason!

Meanwhile, the rest of camp saw a puppet show in the park and had a picnic dinner!

It was a truly wonderful day.

Love,
Camp
