Today was a heavy day full of love and family. We gathered in the studio to celebrate the beautiful lives of our dear friends Manny Furtado and Sean Wawrzaszek, two long time camp family members who passed away this year.
Their families came, and we created a makeshift ocean in the studio for beautiful boats that campers and counselors decorated in their honor. We had hoped to have the ceremony on State Beach, but it was quite stormy out, so we will have an ocean celebration once the sun comes out.
Many old and current counselors shared stories about Sean and Manny, which showed how loving and raunchy and good-humored they were. Below are a few images of them with their good friends. We miss and very much love them.
