Noooooooo

Today was wonderful but sadly the last day of camp. We distracted ourselves the whole day and tried very hard not to cry. We will probably be extra sad tomorrow as a result, but that happens.

Here's a picture of happy Sams on a swing

First we went to Grace Church, didn't fall asleep even after the play, and had a tasty sandwich and ice cream lunch provided by them afterwards (thank you so much!)

Then we came back, put on lots of loud music and started packing because dancing while packing wasn't as sad as just packing in silence.

Here's another picture of people hugging

After packing, we headed to Oak Bluffs for one more adventure and rode some horses, ate our feelings with a lot of ice cream and french fries, and enjoyed each other's company.

Then we showered and got ready for the shining beacon of joy, the Vineyard Sound, to come sooth us and make us feel better about the fact that everyone is leaving tomorrow. In addition to the Vineyard Sound, we also had some sick guest DJs at dinner and a fantastic clambake feast thanks to Josh and Sam! So that helped our spirits.

Then we capped off the night with a crazy upbeat highlighter dance party where we wrote nice things on everyone's shirts (so that's why there's random white shirts with scribbles all over them in everyone's luggage)

The boat comes into Woods Hole at 10:15 am and we will be simultaneously overjoyed to see our blood families and hysterically upset to leave this beautiful camp family.

Here's 2 group photos (click to make them larger, and sorry we only have half your face, Barra)

We love each other. What a great summer it has been.

Love,
Camp
