Today was a day of adventure. We crammed some hot tasty breakfast down our throats then split into three crazy groups. The first group took some public transportation to Oak Bluffs to eat a delicious lunch at Nancy's! The second group (Mimsy) had a super special mobile-making-modpodge art project and then had a delicious lunch at Waterside Market in Vineyard Haven.
And the third group went horseback riding and ate a delicious meal at Humphrey's!
...but first they took a selfie.
After all these adventures, we started thinking about parade prep (which will be a surprise until we really start making things and have pictures of that! Suspense!)
Then we rested and got ready for some DRUMMING ON THE BEAAAAAAAACH!!
Here are some A/V nerds talking about computers again... as usual
And here is George Russo emerging from the salty deep with some Mikes!
Even though the water was freezing, a few brave souls had a wonderful time splashing around
As the sun set, we had a great time dancing and hanging out with the drummers!
At one point, the St. Amour family gathered together and were color coordinated, so we took a bunch of potential Christmas photos
Hey look! Anthony took a break from drumming to say hey to some Mimsy gals!
Emily Stoddard was exceptionally grumpy at one point...
...but a couple Sams really cheered her up and she was back to her smiley self.
Scott tried his first JalapeƱo tonight, and he liked it!
And Rob Gale stopped by! He felt a few crustaceans and caught up with Elissa, Pete O'Hara, and many other old friends.
Myles and Juan spent some time on the beach harmonizing with some great old songs, like "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" and "My Girl". It was glorious.
AAAAAND then this sunset happened. Bam.
Tomorrow we are busy again, can't wait to tell you about it!
Love,
Camp
