Today was our first full day, and to commemorate that, we ate so much and are so full that we can't really move!
Here's what we did. First, we had breakfast and caught up on some stories from our friends. Then we had our first set of classes. In art, a group painted some water bottle holders, which will be very handy because we are all about both hydration and style at camp. Sam gave his to his loving sister, Emily.
Hillary spent some time during classes working on a puzzle.

Scott spent some time during classes working on his charming smile.
There was also a nature hike, library trip, yoga, sports, and professional tennis class this morning! We expanded our minds and stretched our bodies.
...but first we took a selfie.
...then we walked into lunch.
In the middle of lunch we were greeted by none other than GEORGE RUSSO!! He's a great guy full of stories and creativity and we can't wait to hang out with him. Also his counselor had the camera today so here's a lot of very great photos of him:
Welcome, George!
After lunch, we rested a bit and then Claire rang the bell to load the bus for MENEMSHA!
At Menemsha, we all ate some soft serve and drank some soft soup once it melted, then we spent a little while wandering around and looking at the beautiful view.
Before we left Menemsha, we tried to take a selfie but no one had long enough arms so a stranger did it. Thanks, stranger! (the picture's below)
After the ice cream, we hurried home to eat more! This time it was Cynthia's amazing chicken, mashed potatoes, peas, cole slaw, aaaaand ginger cookies! After consuming our daily requirement of 12,000 calories, we were excited to work it all off at our first dance party of the summer! Myles BH DJ-ed, and we had a great time jumping around and yelling. Unfortunately, it was pretty dark and we were pretty busy jumping and yelling, so we don't have any pictures from that. So just picture us jumping and yelling... in the dark. It was perfect.
Here we are! First session of July camp 2014! #jabberwocky2014, if that's something you're into.
Love,
Camp
